This orchid is a Ghillanyara hybrid registered with the RHS. The key influencing species of this hybrid are Brassavola nodosa (37.50% section: Cuneilabia ) Guarianthe bowringiana (25.00% subgenus Circumvola section: Moradae ) Laelia albida (12.50% subgenus Laelia section: Podolaelia )
