Registered parents are Paphiopedilum Doris Stanton × Paphiopedilum Mem. F. M. Ogilvie. The key influencing species of this hybrid are Paphiopedilum villosum var. boxallii (43.75% subgenus Paphiopedilum section: Paphiopedilum ) Paphiopedilum insigne (34.38% subgenus Paphiopedilum section: Paphiopedilum ) Paphiopedilum spicerianum (12.50% ) listed in order of their genetic contribution.
