The orchid Paphiopedilum Jerry Cowburn is a hybrid in the Paphiopedilum genus. registered with the Royal Horticultural Society by G.F.Moore in 1927. Registered parents are Paphiopedilum Archmanii × Paphiopedilum Mem. F. M. Ogilvie. The key influencing species of this hybrid are Paphiopedilum villosum var. boxallii (40.63% subgenus Paphiopedilum section: Paphiopedilum ) Paphiopedilum insigne (28.13% subgenus Paphiopedilum section: Paphiopedilum ) Paphiopedilum bellatulum (18.75% subgenus Brachypetalum ) listed in order of their genetic contribution.
