The orchid Paphiopedilum Malangali is a hybrid in the Paphiopedilum genus. registered with the Royal Horticultural Society by C.Moore in 1937. Registered parents are Paphiopedilum Athollii × Paphiopedilum Mem. H. J. Elwes. The key influencing species of this hybrid are Paphiopedilum spicerianum (32.81% ) Paphiopedilum insigne (25.00% subgenus Paphiopedilum section: Paphiopedilum ) Paphiopedilum villosum var. boxallii (23.44% subgenus Paphiopedilum section: Paphiopedilum ) listed in order of their genetic contribution.
