The orchid Cattleya Ophil is a hybrid in the Cattleya genus. registered with the Royal Horticultural Society by Hassall in 1922. Registered parents are Cattleya Ophir × Cattleya Sibyl (1914). The key influencing species of this hybrid are Cattleya dowiana (50.00% subgenus Cattleya section: Cattleya ) Cattleya xanthina (25.00% subgenus Crispae section: Crispae series: Cattleyodes ) Cattleya bicolor (12.50% subgenus Intermediae ) listed in order of their genetic contribution.
