The orchid Oncidium Redbreast is a hybrid in the Oncidium genus. registered with the Royal Horticultural Society by Hanbury in 1924. Registered parents are Oncidium Bradshawiae (syn Oncidium Bradshawiae (1907)) × Oncidium Amethyst. The key influencing species of this hybrid are Oncidium alexandrae (56.25% ) Oncidium noezlianum (25.00% ) Oncidium nobile (12.50% subgenus Odontoglossum ) listed in order of their genetic contribution.
