It is originated by Gibbs Registered parents are Cymbidium Butterfly × Cymbidium A. H. Barlow. The key influencing species of this hybrid are Cymbidium insigne (43.75% section: Cyperorchis ) Cymbidium lowianum (34.38% section: Cyperorchis ) Cymbidium hookerianum (15.63% section: Cyperorchis ) listed in order of their genetic contribution.
