It is originated by E.W.McLellan Registered parents are Cymbidium Sherwood Forest × Cymbidium Alexanderi. The key influencing species of this hybrid are Cymbidium eburneum (37.50% section: Cyperorchis ) Cymbidium insigne (25.00% section: Cyperorchis ) Cymbidium lowianum (12.50% section: Cyperorchis ) listed in order of their genetic contribution.
