The orchid Cattleya Amboseli is a hybrid in the Cattleya genus. registered with the Royal Horticultural Society by Perkins in 1956. It is originated by Sanders (St Albans) Registered parents are Cattleya Rosemary Sander × Cattleya Areca. The key influencing species of this hybrid are Cattleya dowiana (25.00% subgenus Cattleya section: Cattleya ) Cattleya warscewiczii (21.88% subgenus Cattleya section: Cattleya ) Cattleya mossiae (18.75% subgenus Cattleya section: Cattleya ) listed in order of their genetic contribution.
