It is originated by E.W.McLellan Registered parents are Cattleya Hermosa × Cattleya Mirabelle. The key influencing species of this hybrid are Cattleya dowiana (26.56% subgenus Cattleya section: Cattleya ) Cattleya warscewiczii (26.56% subgenus Cattleya section: Cattleya ) Cattleya trianae (25.00% subgenus Cattleya section: Cattleya ) listed in order of their genetic contribution.
