It is originated by Mrs H.Ireland Registered parents are Cymbidium simulans (syn Cymbidium aloifolium) × Cymbidium Alexanderi. The key influencing species of this hybrid are Cymbidium aloifolium (50.00% ) Cymbidium insigne (25.00% section: Cyperorchis ) Cymbidium eburneum (12.50% section: Cyperorchis ) listed in order of their genetic contribution.
