It is originated by C.K.Andrew Registered parents are Cymbidium Sunrise × Cymbidium Flare. The key influencing species of this hybrid are Cymbidium insigne (35.94% section: Cyperorchis ) Cymbidium lowianum var. kalawense (18.75% ) Cymbidium lowianum (16.41% section: Cyperorchis ) listed in order of their genetic contribution.
