It is originated by B.Tanaka Registered parents are Cattleya Edithiae × Guarianthe aurantiaca. The key influencing species of this hybrid are Guarianthe aurantiaca (50.00% subgenus Circumvola section: Aurantiacae ) Cattleya trianae (25.00% subgenus Cattleya section: Cattleya ) Cattleya gaskelliana (12.50% subgenus Cattleya section: Cattleya ) listed in order of their genetic contribution.
