It is originated by E.Glasgow Registered parents are Encyclia plicata × Cattlianthe Meadii. The key influencing species of this hybrid are Encyclia plicata (50.00% ) Guarianthe bowringiana (25.00% subgenus Circumvola section: Moradae ) Cattleya forbesii (25.00% subgenus Intermediae ) listed in order of their genetic contribution.
