It is originated by Cosanka Registered parents are Paphiopedilum Renee Dupont × Paphiopedilum F. C. Puddle. The key influencing species of this hybrid are Paphiopedilum insigne (60.16% subgenus Paphiopedilum section: Paphiopedilum ) Paphiopedilum spicerianum (18.55% ) Paphiopedilum niveum (12.50% subgenus Brachypetalum ) listed in order of their genetic contribution.
