It is originated by S.Low Registered parents are Paphiopedilum Montecito × Paphiopedilum Benenden. The key influencing species of this hybrid are Paphiopedilum insigne (21.88% subgenus Paphiopedilum section: Paphiopedilum ) Paphiopedilum villosum var. boxallii (21.09% subgenus Paphiopedilum section: Paphiopedilum ) Paphiopedilum spicerianum (19.53% ) listed in order of their genetic contribution.
