It is originated by Arvida Registered parents are Cattleya Phena × Cattleya Dorothy Watkins. The key influencing species of this hybrid are Cattleya dowiana (23.44% subgenus Cattleya section: Cattleya ) Cattleya warscewiczii (17.19% subgenus Cattleya section: Cattleya ) Cattleya purpurata (14.06% subgenus Crispae section: Crispae series: Cattleyodes ) listed in order of their genetic contribution.
