It is originated by Mansell & Hatcher Registered parents are Paphiopedilum Seine × Paphiopedilum Humber. The key influencing species of this hybrid are Paphiopedilum villosum var. boxallii (32.81% subgenus Paphiopedilum section: Paphiopedilum ) Paphiopedilum insigne (23.44% subgenus Paphiopedilum section: Paphiopedilum ) Paphiopedilum spicerianum (21.88% ) listed in order of their genetic contribution.
