It is originated by E.W.McLellan Registered parents are Paphiopedilum Diversion × Paphiopedilum Bordube. The key influencing species of this hybrid are Paphiopedilum insigne (35.16% subgenus Paphiopedilum section: Paphiopedilum ) Paphiopedilum spicerianum (29.20% ) Paphiopedilum villosum (25.59% subgenus Paphiopedilum section: Paphiopedilum ) listed in order of their genetic contribution.
