The orchid Paphiopedilum Blendia is a Paphiopedilum hybrid. registered with the Royal Horticultural Society by Cooke in 1938. Registered parents are Paphiopedilum Lucarola × Paphiopedilum Mem. F. M. Ogilvie. The key influencing species of this hybrid are Paphiopedilum villosum var. boxallii (43.75% subgenus Paphiopedilum section: Paphiopedilum ) Paphiopedilum spicerianum (18.75% ) Paphiopedilum villosum (15.63% subgenus Paphiopedilum section: Paphiopedilum ) listed in order of their genetic contribution.
