This name is accepted name for the species in the family Orchidaceae subfamily Epidendroideae, tribe Vandeae, subtribe Aeridinae, and under infraspecific classification, it is in the subgenus Polychilos section: Zebrinae . This species is found in Indo-China to W. Malesia and Philippines (Palawan).
